i was reading the tree registry trying to find some trees that i could visit on our trip to the coast, when i found out that this huge old Madrona tree lived right there on W 8th in Port Angels
apparently Ted loved this tree so much and fought for it's survival for so long that when he died his wife bought the city lot it lived upon and turned into a park
funny, i took some pictures and marvelled at it's size but i didn't touch it
nice, thick, tall, well formed, just wonderful
right in the middle of town
and look at the size of this babyplus some cars and vans over at blownbrown~
