the artist as monster

No Paintin' Any Time~ is the name of this show at 18th and Yesler, caged, behind bars for it's own protection
this lot will someday be a giant concrete hive for little workers from the eastside or California but for now it's free and open to suggestions of art and harmless bombings

the oldsters who retired into that apartment building can look out their windows and ignore me

wildflowers unplucked

chained paintings like bodega windows

if you can climb a fence, or crawl, you can paint a picture with me, we can hold hand. . . i washed them, don't worry

waiting for first light i drank a pot of coffee and felt the pull of noir

caught~ art gawkers

just walk away. . . just walk away

PAINT'N A LOT 2 da redux

this free show is now located at Corson ave. S and a few houses south of S. Bailey, in Georgetown, just south of the shell gas station~ and the same side of the street
this very morning with the first rain of the summer, i put on the show~ barely dawn patrolling it

stalking the freerange paintings, poacher style

all of these paintings have titles and little stories, call me up*~ when your standing in the grass~

i'll lay down a slight narrative~

Paint'n A Lot 2010

through the eyes of the attack van, awaiting the next insertion

as opposed to the idea of political branding~ an innocent way to identify what could grow in these empty lots~ loaded with potential

paintings~ found

The architecture firm handling the land use where my art show was sitting, passed me the number for SSCC* the college apparently owns the empty lot~
i called them, and they told me, that they had to put the show away because the dean was coming over with the suits in tow and they weren't sure of the meaning of bombs, and my subject matter,
they were all so nice to me, they walked me over to their garage~ where they had stored my paintings~ very carefully
i felt like a little shit, making them take the show down and all
next time i'll put my phone number on the back, not just my website,
thanks Ariel, and to all the very nice polite, people at the college

now, my coolant spewing, rust bucket, rainroof attack art van is once again stuffed full of paintings

the city of Seattle has empty pockets, a blown budget and it's underwear is showing, very old classy underwear

really cool aggregate bench with volcanic pathetic landscaping~ dormant

words of wisdom~ folks

greatest front porch in Seattle, no, the world, this should be the cover of Martha Stewart Magazine

THE PAINTINGS ARE SAFE AT HOME and i can sleep tonight what a relief
next show, this Sunday, more drama, tears, joy, laughter, and splinters

*south seattle community college

we will dump them at the city dump

somebody took uni-stork, and the A) side, the nu-man, cascadian and the show sign, notice of proposed painting

the rest of the show was piled up with other trash

this is how the world treats art, when it's not high priced, or hanging on a white wall

i don't need your permission, mr. Monty Biggs, the show was over anyway, i was just too lazy to go pick it up,
everyone seemed to love the show~
nobody i know loves an empty garbage strewn overgrown field with a giant proposal sign planted in it, for three years, plus loads of dog shit,
you're a bunch of real estate development fellows build something already~ what's the matter, no money ?

art is still free~

Jake and took the show home, now we have a van full of art, waiting to attack a field near you, in a seconds notice
