new banner- with thanks to Jimmy D Curtis

a few years back Jimmy and I were working over at his house. building a new roof for his old concrete garage, next to the structure the kids had a chicken coup, full of rats, and jimmies cat would sit there all day near a hole and every ten minutes or so, she'd pull a juvenile rat out and give it to jimmy, who, i discovered later had stacked them all up on this rubber rat we found. like a sculpture of motherly love. I really miss working with Jimmy, i see him now almost everyday, i drive by on the way to school, i tap the horn and wave, and he ignores me, he's working at some stony guys house, weeding, house painting, building fences-
i can't believe i kicked him in the ribs, and tried to throw him down a flight of stairs. back, way back, when i had the greatest job in the world.
