the city as shit

when i head out on urban dipshit hikes i ususally head out down hill when i turn the corner this is the territorial view from what the realators call Madrona Park

an embarrassing read

one of the greatest names in the language and just a great piece of street art

old Seattle apartment building having to face off with modern empty office building, toaster

whatever these things are, they've really taken a beating over the passed few years

i really like broken street objects, rusted Re bar and crumbly concrete, moss and grassy living things fighting thru cracks

signs that the city builds for bored kids and guys who wish

gutterpack under the skyline, Christmas eve~ with soaked cardboard gifts

at the end of every month for the passed year the sidewalk sculptors have been going ballistic with installations~ this piece was actually watched over with a chaperon, who huddled in the door way with a sleeping bag and plywood crib walls~ i didn't take his picture~ and he didn't ask me to step back, or whisper no touching

mattress forts over grass vs rent money
can traditional two dimensional framed art carry any importance against reality's poverty

i tried to steal a bit of this show but it all really sucked~ only holding cohesiveness as a whole
my side of this so called emerald city creates traffic stopping shows and gut retching smells
Mattress is a nice name for a show

you can read a book like this anywhere, a park bench, a train, an airplane, and be comfortable in the knowledge that mature adults aren't judging you by the cover art and assumed content of your book selection~ as though any novel which isn't about realistic events and people is some how better than~cowboys and rocket ships and time traveling fags

but come on do i really have to walk around with this book in my hands and waving it in your face~ what ? am i twelve ~

if your going to write a sci~fi novel~ have the art director have two covers, the crazy noir robots fighting over the boobtray wearing super model with skull head, for all the nerds and comixcon goth shims and fems, and one of embossed vines and some fancy cool font title for people who judge

my wife climbs trees and i watch from couches~waiting for fall~

two lane hippie

i like a film from the seventies without any pale white~ out of shape boobs or bodies~ a film without dialogue~where nothing much happens~ much like a persons life or how this person spent his youth driving aimlessly down country roads~
you can see what every one looked like clear up until the eighties from this film

a film about two long hair skinny guys who are both in love with the same car

then this girl randomly shows up and trys to make it a film about her but that doesn't work at all

this same actress would commit suicide just eight years later~ she looks exactly like all the girls from my old high school and my son Dashiell
the best part of the film is when the girl gets disgusted with all the gay car talk and climbs on to the back of Billy's chopper and they drive off to make easy rider~via time machine~

like a drive-in movie~ you are not really here for the film~ but for the mosquito's~ kids drinking beer out of popcorn cups ~ picking fights with hillbillies ~ exploding stars among cornfields

i have to tell you a secret~ i really like crashing cars

the guy who wrote the screen play for this film, which was bought for 100,000 dollars, and thrown out, bought a sail boat and took his two year old daughter around the world

when i was ten this is all i would draw~ and how i became a painter~ while i should have gone racing
best line of the film~

you ain't hippies~are ya ?

dodge charger chasing the boys backwards

my friend J.T. Steiny sends me a piece of art just about every day~ he uses the regular mail like your momma uses the Internet~ and i love him for it~ he brightens my day and makes me feel lazy at the same time~ inspires me and amazes me with his gifts of pen ink and brush, color and cardboard wonder

He has a mini~empire of web sites and blogs

the greatest of these to cheer the eyes everyday is Dog a day, and i don't even like dogs, much

he teaches children how to make books out of their art work~ beginning to end

love this painting so much so busy and colorful

this is one of the best ~ used without permission~ sorry

porniture is one of my favorite books~ you can find it ~ somewhere in here~ so, so very great

the chin on this mermaid kills me~

the mail which arrives for me is sometimes so large that the mail men rip pieces off or fold these paintings in half~ creasing mangling ruining, and smudging~

it's like receiving birthday cards everyday

J.T. should be everyones friend, brother or teacher, or d.] all of the above

so much talent~ i stand humbled. lazy and honored
