holy crap a 1966 chevy van pulled up and stole my heart

i'm sitting at home when i hear the sound of vintage steel pulling up my hill, stopping in front of my house and i jump to feet, slowly with my shattered back and look out the window and scream, get the camera, Deborah Henry has pulled up in a sweet ass 1960-66 Chevy van, oh, my god i almost fall down in tears, i get out side and rip the barn doors open and jump in the back and crawl around. for i have found heaven.

the tail lights both say 1960, i can't read the vin, the paint/trim tag is meaningless, and there is no registration in the glove box, so who knows what year this beast is, and it's so stubby and box like, can i have it? Henry has just come back from NYC, and drove straight to my house, i am the first to see this master piece, maybe if Chevy still made 'em like this, huh?

this photo is of the engine shot from standing in the street and looking into the windshield, i want one just like this, damn it, look at that sweet little straight six, you could practically work on the engine while you drove around.

there are no vans that can compare to this wild wonderful machine, Deb Henry is going to use it for work and advertising for the plumbing business, SPLASH. if you see this classic van creeping your neighbour hood run out side screaming. throw toilet paper, or just wave and say hi.
