standing under the Viaduct, which is the funny name of a highway, downtown, which may one day be replaced by a tunnel, this used to be the public dock or something, back when the world was civil- this is where the bums and hobos sleep, huddled like wolves

guarded by these enormous, wood carved totems, really giant, and really frightening

this building reminds me of the Long Island City of my childhood, minus the dirt road behind it, i love the fact that this city has dirt roads, and alley ways
